Massey Tuckpointing & Masonry, based in St. Louis County, Mo., is among nine businesses and three charities that will be presented withBBB TORCH Awards for exceptional ethical business practices and customer service from the Better Business Bureau (BBB) Serving Eastern Missouri and Southern Illinois on Oct. 24.

Michell Massey, president of this BBB Accredited Business, says she spends a lot of her time making sure customers know what to expect from her tuckpointing crews, updating them on schedules and following up to make sure the company’s work meets their expectations.

“I want to do the job right and satisfy my customers because that’s what I would want,” Massey said. She also worked to qualify as a Women’s Business Enterprise so she could seek larger contracts, but her bread and butter remains residential work.

The BBB will present the TORCH Awards at a luncheon on Thursday, Oct. 24, at the Chase Park Plaza. Stephen M. R. Covey, author of business bestseller The Speed of Trust, will be the keynote speaker. KSDK News anchor Art Holliday will emcee the event.

Tickets for the luncheon are available at $50 a person, or $500 for a table of 10. Patron tables for 10 are available for $1,500, and other sponsorship levels are available. To reserve a table or seat or to get sponsorship information, call 314-645-0606 or email [email protected].
